Roger
Coleman is the President and founder of Accredited Aviation Auditors and Consultants. Roger has over
25 years experience in aviation safety both in the military and
civilian environment. Roger was an Instructor Pilot in the USAF flying
B-52s, T-37s, T-38 and T-41s for about 10 years. He served as the Chief of Safety and Chief of Flight Safety. His safety program at the Officer Training School was awarded the Air Training Command's "Commanders Trophy" for the "Best Program in the Command"and a nationwide award from the National Safety Council for the "Most Improved Program" in 1980.
Roger performed safety audits of Fortune 500 corporate fleets, Part 135 operations and various helicopter operators as an insurance underwriter with a major aviation insurance firm and as Vice-President of Airlines & Products Liability.
He spent 12 years at
American Airlines as the Manager of the "Human Factors and Safety
Training Department" and lead the program development and facilitation
of Crew Resource Management courses for company pilots, flight
attendants and dispatchers.Roger was also an instructor on the Fokker
100 aircraft at AA.
He was most recently the Coordinator of Specialty and Enrichment
courses at FlightSafety International at the DFW Center for 3 years and
was the primary International Procedures Instructor at the center.
Roger also facilitated and developed courses such as fatigue
countermeasures, CRM, cold weather operations, automation management,
hypoxia awareness, CFIT, ALAR, and High Altitude training classes.
